Monica Spada, Civil Engineer and MBA in Management & Economics of Energy & Environment at Eni Corporate University, has been working in Eni for 15 years in different managerial roles, starting from the refining and marketing sector to Research & Innovation Department where she has headed since November 2021.

She is currently member of the Board of several companies, including Milazzo Refinery and Eni Rewind; she is also President of the MOST (Sustainable Mobility National Center) Industrial Board and Chairman of the OMC, the Med Energy Conference & Exhibition focused on disseminating technical knowledge and expertise to develop sustainable energy sources in the Mediterranean Area.

Former Head of Oil and Products Portfolio Optimization and Supply in the Green/Traditional Eni Refining & Marketing dept, she previously served as Head of Bio-Development, Sustainable Mobility & Circular Economy dept and was responsible for the Long-Term Positioning Initiative Coordination activities with reference to those related to Carbon Neutrality.

Her earlier position as Responsible of the Office of the CEO introduced her to an extensive knowledge of the energy sector.
