Claudio Granata
Chairman of the Board ROAD
The Chairman supervises the performance of the ROAD's activity in compliance with the addresses given by the OCG, taking care of their execution. Maintains relations with organizations, institutions, public and private companies and others, in order to establish collaborative relationships and support for individual ROAD’s initiatives. He takes care of the internal relations between the members of ROAD.
Claudio Granata serves as a Director Human Capital &Procurement Coordination of Eni. Since November 2014 he has been the President of theBoard of Directors of Eni Corporate University.
In 1983 he joined the Eni group. From 1983 to 1994 he worked as an expert on the labor market and social security at the ASAP (Association of Trade Unions of Eni Companies).
From 1994 to 1999 he continued his experience in Eni Corporate as an expert in industrial relations. In 2000, he was assigned responsibility for Personnel and Organization of Eni Servizi Amministrativi, a company set up for the purpose of centralizing Eni's administrative activities.
In 2001 he took on responsibility for Eni's territorial centers for which he structured personnel management by geographical area and in 2003 he assumed the role of Business HR in Corporate, ensuring the Departments support for the management and development of resources managers of Eni Corporate, in a period of great change (2002-2004), characterized by the mergers by incorporation of Snam and AgipPetroli with the redefinition of the organizational structures of the staff areas. In the same year he was also appointed Personnel and Organization Director of SOFID (Eni's financial services company).
In 2006 he took on the role of Human Resources Director of the E&P Division, where he oversees the processes of Planning, Management, Development and Compensation of human resources, and Organization activities.
Participates with Top Management in the reorganization of the Division's macro-processes, promoting Change Management initiatives. Since 2006 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Eni International Resources Ltd, holding the position of Chairman from 2012 to 2013.
From 2012 to March 2015 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Eni UK Ltd.
Since 2013 he has been appointed Executive Vice President Sustainable Development, Safety, Environment and Quality in E&P, with the responsibility of supervising the processes of safety, environment, quality, in order to promote integration with operational processes and contribute to improving time to market and efficiency.
Since 1 July 2014 he has been Chief Services & Stakeholder Relations Officer of Eni. Until May 2016 he was a Director of the Eni Foundation.
He has a degree in Economics.
