NABA and ROAD launch a Master's programme to train leaders in sustainable innovation
Rome, 4 December 2024 - The new Professional Master's in Design Thinking and Innovation Management by NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in collaboration with ROAD - Rome Advanced District, starts in February 2025 in Rome.
The Master aims to train experts capable of facing the challenges of innovation and sustainability, thus responding to the growing demand for advanced skills in the fields of integrated mobility, digital digital services and associated production contexts.
NABA is an Academy of training in art and design, with its two campuses in Milan and Rome, offers first and second level courses in the fields of design, fashion design, graphics and communication, multimedia arts, new technologies, scenography and visual arts. NABA has been selected by QS World University Rankings® by Subject as the best Italian Academy of Fine Arts and among the top 100 institutions in the world in the field of Art & Design.
ROAD is the network of companies formed in 2023 by Eni, Acea, Autostrade per l'Italia, Bridgestone, Cisco, Gruppo FS and NextChem (MAIRE) for the creation of the first technological innovation district in Rome dedicated to new energy chains and open to supply chain collaborations between R&D departments of companies, universities, research centres, start-ups and SMEs innovative technologies for the energy and digital transition.
NABA's Professional Master's in Design Thinking and Innovation Management in cooperation with ROAD is aimed at those who wish to develop a structured design method, through a creative approach, applicable to the circular economy and capable of responding to complex needs. Participants will acquire the skills to design integrated digital campaigns, also considering the ethical implications and the support of AI in communication. Furthermore, they will explore the stages of innovation processes in complex organisations, taking an experimental and systemic approach to managing change.
During the four months of lessons, which will take place in hybrid mode, students will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of design thinking and innovation management, as well as strategic communication and marketing techniques, in an energy transition-oriented context, thanks to the collaboration with ROAD, the first technological innovation district for the Capital.
At the end of the training course, the Master will offer interesting professional opportunities in the context of the current transformations related to the fields of innovation, sustainability, integrated mobility, as well as digital services and the new production contexts related to them, giving the ROAD network of partner companies the opportunity to scout for young professionals to be included in their teams.
Participants in NABA's Professional Master's in Design Thinking and Innovation Management in collaboration with ROAD will be able to become Service Designers for the realisation of innovative projects inspired by the criteria of circularity, eco-design and regeneration by acquiring the main associated marketing and communication skills.
